At the center of the story is Michael Westen, a secret agent who receives is no more considered reliable by his employers and is told to retire from providing any more service. The series gets its name from here; a termination – in the spy world – is called a burn notice. Obviously, we see a troubled, heart broken Michael on the pursuit of finding out the people who issued him his burn notice. He takes up the identity of a private investigator, which we see in the second season of the series.

The get my life back stories are engrossing and the weekly stories are great as well. There could not be a better episode than Michael blowing up things with just a quick snap of his fingers. This makes the episode great and it’s good to see John Mahoney come back.

Many people love the show and some even on a more professional level as well. Hopefully Michael will get his life back and move to another location to continue his line of work, mainly involving helping those who cannot help themselves.

And since there are plenty of evil men out there in the world he can take them on. Maybe he can even take on Al Qaeda.
